JOHOR BAHRU: R&F Mall Johor Bahru and R&F Princess Cove ushered in a new chapter of growth with a vibrant New Tenant Signing Ceremony and Partner Appreciation Reception at the R&F Princess Cove Sales Gallery today.
The event not only welcomed an exciting lineup of fresh tenants but also celebrated long-standing partners who have helped shape the development’s identity as Johor Bahru’s premier urban lifestyle hub.
The gathering was more than a signing—it was a showcase of renewed energy, strategic collaboration, and an ambitious vision for the city’s retail and entertainment scene.

R&F Mall announced an impressive portfolio of incoming tenants, each set to redefine experiences for shoppers and visitors. The line-up spans food and beverage, retail, beauty, and entertainment, with several industry firsts for Southern Malaysia.
Among the headline attractions is JB1 Kids Theme Park, billed as Malaysia’s first flagship indoor theme park catering to families. Complementing it is the largest Escape Room in Southern Malaysia, covering almost 10,000 square feet, and Laser Battle, Asia’s largest privately-owned laser battle operator.
Together, these offerings promise to establish R&F Mall as a regional magnet for immersive entertainment.
Food lovers can look forward to a diverse mix, from the highly-anticipated Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh, making its debut in Southern Malaysia, to the Spring Garden Food Court and specialty cuisines such as Dongbei, Su Xiao Xian, and Sek Bao.
On the retail front, global lifestyle brand MINISO and Chinese goods specialist EONSPHERE will bring wide-ranging retail choices.
The beauty and wellness sector also receives a boost, with Jean Yip and LuxDerm set to provide premium grooming and skincare services. Movie enthusiasts, meanwhile, can look forward to WOMEI Cinema, adding to the mall’s entertainment credentials.
At R&F Marina Place, the vibrancy continues with trendy entrants like Hai Xian Lao and NOXX, lifestyle destinations tailored for the younger crowd seeking modern dining and social spaces.
The event was attended by R&F’s leadership team, brand representatives, and invited guests. A series of signing sessions formalised the new partnerships, with executives and tenants joining in photo opportunities to mark the milestone.
Beyond the formalities, the event fostered collaboration through an open networking session. Tenants had the chance to exchange insights, explore synergies, and share resources.

The evening concluded with a relaxed tea reception, a symbolic gesture of appreciation that further cemented the bonds between R&F and its partners.
Li Ming Liang, CEO of R&F Malaysia, underscored the significance of the occasion in his keynote remarks.
“This signing ceremony is not only a testament to our revitalised commercial strategy, but also a declaration of our continued commitment to the future,” he said.
“We aim to continuously upgrade our brand offerings, elevate customer experiences, and enhance thematic environments—creating a vibrant, inclusive retail destination. For our partners, we strive to provide a platform rich with potential and opportunity,” he said.
His words echoed R&F’s long-term vision: positioning R&F Mall and R&F Princess Cove as transformative commercial hubs that do more than sell products—they deliver experiences, lifestyles, and community.
The significance of this development extends beyond R&F Mall. The influx of new tenants reflects growing investor confidence in Johor Bahru’s evolving urban landscape, particularly as the city strengthens its role as a gateway between Malaysia and Singapore.
By bringing first-to-market brands and record-sized entertainment concepts, R&F Mall is setting new benchmarks for integrated commercial spaces in the region. This strategy aligns with broader trends in Southeast Asia, where retail destinations are rapidly transforming into mixed-use lifestyle centers that combine shopping, dining, leisure, and social interaction.
With tenants preparing to roll out in phases over the coming months, R&F Mall and R&F Princess Cove are poised to redefine retail and lifestyle standards in Johor Bahru.
The mix of international brands, unique local dining concepts, and large-scale entertainment attractions is expected to draw both residents and tourists, boosting footfall and economic vibrancy in the area.
More than just new shops and restaurants, today’s signing represents a renewed commitment: to nurture partnerships, enhance customer experiences, and strengthen Johor Bahru’s reputation as a dynamic and forward-looking city.
As the applause from the ceremony faded and partners mingled over tea, one thing was clear—R&F Mall Johor Bahru and R&F Princess Cove are not just adding tenants; they are crafting a lifestyle ecosystem designed to grow with the community, adapt to trends, and thrive in the years to come.
