I am not a soothsayer,
But I have this to say;
Words can’t portray,
The heart’s dismay:
For humanity has gone astray,
As we hurt each other, and we slay.

It’s not just another day,
In the world today;
We will have aplenty to pay,
With loads of prayers to say:
For it’s a sad sad day,
When the world, is so full of dismay.

We had peace,
But we took it for granted;
We had tolerance,
And we took it for granted;
We had moderation, we took it for granted:
Who is to be blamed, but ourselves!
