JOHOR BAHRU: In a world that often emphasizes individualism and self-preservation, the act of giving stands as a beacon of selflessness and compassion.
Whether itās a simple act of kindness, a charitable donation, or the gift of oneās time, giving is a fundamental aspect of the human experience that transcends time and culture.
Their words echo the universal truth that giving is a virtue that knows no bounds, transcending the constraints of age, gender, race, and background.
Jason Teo Jiunn Shyang, managing director of LCM Marketing feels that the smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.

For Jason generosity consists not the sum given, but the manner in which it is bestowed.
Office Matters under the banner of LCM Marketing donated A4 size papers, whiteboard markers and stationery for SMK Seri Perling.
The items donated will be used for examinations and the printing of notes and exercises for students.
During the handing over ceremony at the school Jason and his team were received by the schoolās principal Woo Lee Fang.
The school has an enrolment of 1876 students and is located in a sub-urban area in Taman Perling. A number of the students are from low-income families.
At the ceremony Jason also handed out RM50 cash vouchers each for six needy students who are from the B40 group. They could use the vouchers to purchase any stationery items from his chain of Office Matters premises.
āThey can go and exchange the vouchers for any items they wish for that amount,ā he said.

He said with such vast number of students hence the usage of white board markers and papers was enormous.
āToday prices of papers and other stationery items have sharply increased and I know it has become a burden for some schools,ā he remarked.
He pointed out that life isnāt about getting and having, itās about giving and being.
āI know how one feels when they canāt even purchase stationery due to their family predicament and financial constraints,ā he said.
He stressed that he was glad to have the opportunity to choose to give back and live lives of generosity. Each of us has the power to make a meaningful difference in someoneās life by giving.

āWe should do what we can to create systemic change and work together to use our time, skills, goods, and advocacy to help those in need,ā he emphasized.
He informed the school principal that should she need further assistance she could directly get in touch with him and that he would try his utmost to assist.
Jason believes the donation of stationery supply was crucial for facilitating effective learning by students.
He stressed that big opportunities to help others seldom come, but little needs tug at our sleeves every day.
Meanwhile Woo said she was thankful to Jason for his kind sponsorship of A4 papers and stationery for the school.
āI am deeply touched by Jasonās gesture to come forward to assist my school of which I am deeply humbled,ā she said.
She said she was astounded that her request for A4 papers and stationery was granted and endorsed.
Present during the hand-over were senior administrators from the school and staff from Office Matters. Also present was Jayabalan Tivathas, vice-chairman of Parent-Teacher Association.
Woo described Jasonās gesture as a willing hand to help the school and at the end of the day, itās not about what you have or even what youāve accomplished, itās about who youāve lifted up, who youāve made better. Itās about what youāve given back.
For Jason and his company they get immense joy in serving others. They get satisfaction when they add value to otherās life by supporting them emotionally, spiritually, or financially. Such generous people with a heart of gold, love living a life for the greater good of humanity.
