Let’s head on to Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade in Jalan Changkat Thamby Dolah for a wide and sumptuous Buka Puasa treat this Ramadhan.

Located at its Chorak Restaurant on Level 8 which offers stunning view of Kuala Lumpur skyline, it offers an array of delicious Malaysian delight such as the classic Slow Roast Mutton, satay, Roti John and lemang served with spiced chicken or beef rendang.

Its Nasi Briyani, cooked with tender beef, is a favourite apart the usual white rice served with asam pedas, ayam masak merah,  rendang daging Minang, squid masala, crispy prawns with Nestum and many more.

The seafood corner serves a variety of fresh items such as prawns, mussels and crabs.

Hotel general manager, Cindy Yeoh said the theme is nostalgia as it recreates a nostalgic journey focusing on local multi-cultural dishes created by the creative culinary team, headed by Sous Chef Ahmad Aiman Razally.

She invited diners to bring their family and friends for a hearty buka puasa at just RM98 nett per adult, and RM58 for senior citizens and children six years old and above.

Ahmad said the menu is inspired by his mother’s favourite recipes, which are always served at the dining table daily.

“I am happy to share these special menu with diners who may be missing home cooked food and ambience during the holy month of Ramadhan,” he said.
