Must be the season for cicadas, as I have never seen so many on the tree trunks at the edge of the forest.

Maybe it is the rainy season, so they are out in the open.

Unfortunately I was not planning to stay till it gets dark, so I will miss the loud calls of the cicadas, especially when there were many of them at this spot.

The rich biodiversity of Malaysian nature and natural wonders continue to amaze.
