KLANG: The West Coast Expressway (WCE) announced a major milestone in Malaysia’s tolling ecosystem with the introduction of Touch ’n Go eWallet PayDirect, positioning WCE as the first end-to-end interstate highway in the country to offer this seamless payment capability.

PayDirect allows motorists to link their Touch ’n Go cards to the Touch ‘n Go eWallet, enabling toll charges to be automatically deducted from their eWallet balance—eliminating the need for manual reloads and reducing friction at toll plazas.

This implementation marks a significant leap forward in WCE’s digital transformation agenda, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing user convenience, improving traffic flow efficiency, and accelerating Malaysia’s transition towards a fully cashless highway ecosystem.

With PayDirect now enabled across its network, WCE strengthens its positioning as a future-ready, technology-driven expressway, aligned with evolving user expectations for seamless, integrated mobility experiences.

This milestone also reflects WCE’s continued focus on innovation-led infrastructure delivery, setting a new benchmark for interstate highway operations in Malaysia.
