Sigit Wiantoro who assumed his new post as general manager of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Johor Bahru recently has over 18 years of experience working at various hotels in Jakarta before coming over to Malaysia.
Speaking to apakhabartv.com, Sigit said he will strive to further enhance the hotel’s service quality and brand value in the future.
“My goal for Holiday Inn Express & Suites Johor Bahru is to be positioned as the best in its class and set new service standards that will truly touch the hearts of its guests,” he asserted.

Today, Sigit oversees the entire operations of the hotel in JB. His key focus will be on enhancing commercial performance by driving revenue growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and strengthening their market presence.
Not mincing his words he said, “I am also excited about being given this opportunity while ensuring that all my teams are seamlessly aligned with our goal of driving the hotel’s success.”
He stressed that by focusing on proactive problem-solving, effective team leadership, and continuous improvement in two-way communication, Sigit is confident they can maintain operational excellence and build stronger relationships among stakeholders.

Prior to taking his current post, he was attached to Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Pluit Citygate.

For Sigit he knows he is required to have a more hands-on approach as a jack-of-all-trades which means he can be more of hands-off by governing the team leads of each individual department to do their own work.
