
Saida Affouneh, the writer, who lives in Nablus currently sent this – half the book she tried to send a few days ago and which was circulated was blocked, but as she works in IT she has found a way to forward the whole book and has requested it be shared widely in its original full version.

“When you grow up, what will you become?” His eyes shift from right to left, and then he answers:
“The children of Palestine do not grow up. The children of Palestine could be shot at any moment. They die before they are born. Some of them die before they are given a name, and some of them remain dead while they are alive.”
This is not some imaginary story. This is the story of Nader, Yousef, Hala, Laila, Eileen, Sabrinat, Ahmed, Anas, Jamila, Sama, Muhammad, Malak… If only this list of names ended there.
The children of Palestine enjoy life as much as they can under the circumstances. They are not meaningless objects to be destroyed on the whim of our occupier. They are real children who deserve life.
A war has been waged against children, their childhood posing a threat to the Zionist Entity. In Palestine, innocence is being deliberately targeted for destruction: 70% of those killed in Gaza have been women and children.
The story of this war began long ago, and not everyone realizes that it did not begin on October 7, 2023.
Rather, it began on November 2, 1917 with the ill-fated Balfour Declaration, by which Britain granted the Jews the right to establish a national homeland for themselves in Palestine, base on the false pretense, ” A land without a people for a people without a land.”
