I was observing stingless bees going in and out through the entrance of the funnel to their nest in the tree trunk.
Stingless bees are found throughout the world and in Malaysia there are many stingless bees species, I read about 17 to 32 species.
Each stingless bees species have specific nest requirements, hence they have preference for different tree trunks.
The rich biodiversity of Malaysian nature and natural wonders continue to amaze.
