The Tanglung or Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival is a harvest festival celebrated in Chinese Culture.

My neighbourhood in Petaling Jaya, every year, we celebrate Tanglung with a lantern parade for the kids accompanied by lion dancers.

An enjoyable evening for neighbours and families, young and old, with food, a singing competition for the under 12 years old, and mid-Autumn themed costume competition.

Great opportunity to catch up with neighbours from the community, and of course to enjoy the mooncakes.
