SEREMBAN: The department of Polytechnic and Community College Education signed a Certificate of Collaboration (CoC) with a Korean company Jaewon Frontier (M) Sdn Bhd to promote better collaborative efforts between the two parties.

The ceremony was held in Sendayan Techvalley, Negeri Sembilan on Mar 14, 2023.

The department was represented by its director-general Dr Mohd Zahari Ismail while Jaewon representative was its managing director Penny Yoo Sun Ho.

Among the agreed minutes was to encourage students to consider Jaewon Frontier (M) Sdn Bhd as a place for internship. Managing director of Jaewon (M) Penny Yoo Sun Ho shared her excitement of having interns from Politeknik Tun Syed Nasir (PTSN) since 2021.

According to Yoo, the interns adapted well to the working culture of the company and 15 were sent to their Hungary branch for better exposure.

“We believed our students could benefit well from a multinational company like Jaewon and we are happy that our students chose to work with Jaewon after they have completed their internship,” said Mohd Zahari.

It was agreed that such effort should be continued while exploring other areas of collaboration.
